Following graduation, she attended in the University of Arizona and was named a three-time All American pitcher, as and a first-baseman. The Honda Award was also given in 2001 and 2002 when Arizona won the softball championship in the nation. Wounded warrior amputee softball (WWAST) is a group of amputees with a mission to increase awareness and collect funds via showcase games, famous softball teams, and other activities which highlight the strength and sacrifices that our military personnel and their ability to conquer any challenge.
